Lens Hood Clip for Canon L Lenses
thingiverse
To tighten my Canon 70-200 2.8 L lens hood, I designed new clips using a 3D printer. These clips should also work for other Canon professional lenses. The image on the left features the original part compared to its 3D printed counterpart. Although it may not be aesthetically pleasing, it functions effectively! When printing these clips, ensure to use a slow speed (e.g., 30 seconds per layer) and consider reducing the flow rate slightly. Print without a raft on a FR4 surface, and finish with acetone/ABS paint for durability.
