The [RF-600D LED Ring Light](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M72JILY/) comes with multiple adapters to mount the ring light directly onto the lens. However, if an adapter is mounted on the lens, it becomes impossible to attach the lens cap for protection when the camera is not in use. This handy adapter utilizes the outer mounting mechanism of the lens hood instead of the internal thread typically used by IR filters from the lens. As a result, filters and the lens cap can still be employed. The adapter has been specifically designed to fit my LUMIX G VARIO lens (H-FS12060), which features an outer diameter of 61.3 mm for the lens hood. Update: The adapter securely locks onto the lens, while the 4 terminals of the LED ring are also locked firmly within the adapter itself.
