Lens holder for Moto G Power (2020) in OtterBox Case

I designed this printed magnifier 4x objective lens holder to slide over the following Otterbox case for a Motorola G Power (2020) cell phone I have: https://www.amazon.com/OtterBox-Commuter-Motorola-Retail-Packaging/dp/B082G2LC4W Frame printed at 0.28 layer height and Lens holder printed at 0.08 layer height due to the fine pitch threads. The two pieces can then be superglued together. The frame has a friction fit to snugly slide over the phone case and is secure there due to the rubber coating from the Otterbox case. This particular Motorola phone camera has an 8x magnification and you can get extra magnification using the microscope lens in combination with a high camera magnification. It works well when that camera is set for ~6-8x magnification for magnified pics and video. Fusion 360 project v41 uses just the tip of the lens holder to get the lens close to camera case. This allows a wider range of camera magnifications (5-8x) but the phone can block the light from the subject so decent lighting of the subject is needed. Fusion 360 project v26 frame has a larger diameter hole for using with thenickdude's RMS to Canon EF adapter Crop Tip 2 stl file. This gives good pics in combination with (7-8x) camera magnification and allows more light to get to the subject because the phone is a little farther away. I've experimented with taking pics and video of the fine detail of a US one dollar bill and it has worked well to give a sense of the magnification possible. I have also taken pics and video of my kid's aqua dragons brine shrimp growing kit which was setup on Christmas which has been interesting to observe develop up close since those are so tiny. The eggs are about 0.2mm spheres. It has been fun to watch them hatch and grow. It is easier to get video than pics of them because they move fast! I even caught the moment one hatched 29 hours after setting up the tank. I'll post some pics I took once I pull them off my phones. All in all, I have been pleased with the performance from the various pictures and video I have been able to capture. As an aside, I've also played around with this microscope lens in combination with a Samsung A20 in its own respective Otterbox case (which is a smaller case). That phone camera only a 4x camera magnification and it takes clear pics but that A20 phone in its case isn't really isn't enough magnification to fill up the whole screen so the corners are dark but the pic can be digitally zoomed in on. The pics still look clear though. I've also played with this lens using a Samsung S20 and that has some real magnification potential. I was able to take clear pics of about 1mm square of a section of a dollar bill with that phone inside a thinner case (not Otterbox). The S20 has a 30x zoom and must be ~18-20 inches away from the subject. With the microscope lens, the magnification goes up and the minimum focal distance is about an inch or two. With all three phones, I could rest my hands on the table to stabilize the phone from vibrations and get a clear photo an inch away in good light. Enjoy!
