This adapter fits non-standard lenses 40 mm in diameter for mounting in [Thorlabs 60-mm optical cage](https://www.thorlabs.de/navigation.cfm?guide_id=2005). It consists of two components: the adapter body and a spring retainer for holding lenses. The spring retainer is screwed onto the adapter using four screws, each measuring 3x12 mm in length. For added stability, four more screws should be placed on either side to secure the adapter's position on the rail. Should the springs prove too long, they can be easily clipped to accommodate thicker lenses.
