Lens cover for the Oculus Quest

TL;DR Use the "Oculus Quest Lens Cover 1.2 Wider Nose Gap.stl" The dimensions of this cover are based on the measurements of the cardboard lens cover that came with the Oculus Quest. This is a work-in-progress model, still in need of adjustments to ensure it doesn't hit the lens when fitted. Fine-tuning the overall dimensions is also necessary, something I can only achieve once I have an Oculus Quest in hand. Feel free to remix this model, as I'm eager to see what others can do with it - this is my first attempt at creating a 3D model, after all. Edit 5/20: Feedback has suggested that the current model won't fit inside the Quest. In response, I've uploaded a revised version based on a scan of the cardboard cutout rather than just its width and height. Hopefully, this updated file will provide a better fit. If it still doesn't fit, please leave some feedback - the new file is labeled as Oculus Quest Lens Cover 1.1. Edit 5/22: I've made adjustments to the size of the model to ensure it fits inside the quest without being too tight or loose. While the nose area remains a bit small, the cover does an acceptable job of protecting the lens. The new file is called Oculus Quest Lens Cover 1.2, with another version labeled Oculus Quest Lens Cover 1.2 Wider Nose Gap - this one features a base size of 60mm for the nose section, as opposed to 52mm. I haven't tested the wider version yet but invite you to try it out and provide feedback. I'll update this post with photos once I can. Edit 5/23: After confirming that the Oculus Quest Lens Cover 1.2 Wider Nose Gap file fits well within the Quest, I'm pleased to say this is the version you should print. Photos have been attached to demonstrate how it fits - there's still room for improvement, but as it stands now, this will do a decent job of protecting your Quest's lens.
