3D Model of a Lens CollarCompatible with Tamron 17-70 F2.8Useful for centering the weight of the camera on a tripodI designed this collar for my lens because I regularly use a tripod, and the fiction below the case unbalances the whole thing. Thanks to this collar, the center of gravity is better placed and I can quickly switch from landscape mode to portrait mode without removing the device. The design contains a slot for a 3mm Allen key which allows to tighten the M4*12 screw.During printing, you must insert a square M4 nuts at this location (see prusa slicer screenshot) During printing, you must insert a square M4 nuts at this location (see prusa slicer screenshot).I printed mine with a 0.6mm nozzle with a 0.30mm layer height, for infill I often use the gyroid at 15-20% and with 3 layers of perimeters. 4 small notches are placed on the back of the collar to help align the lens.3 roundings also allow a simpler alignment by putting the name "TAMRON" in their center (see photos if below)The set can also be attached to a Peak Design backpack clip, but I don't trust PLA enough to use it every day.
