Lens Caps (one part print)
thingiverse
I needed a custom lens cap for my Raynox-250 macro lens, which would match the rear cover I had designed earlier. After tweaking its dimensions to make adjustments easier, I uploaded various cap sizes for users. Print this design without support. Once printed, place the cap's button-side against a hard surface and press firmly until it snaps loose. Do the same on the other side. The design features only a 0.3mm gap, so it will likely stick together somewhat. I've successfully printed it in both 0.15mm PLA and PETG. If you find this lens cap useful, a small donation can go a long way to show your appreciation. I drew inspiration from GlOwl's spring mechanism but designed the rest of the lens-cap from scratch: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3241700 I've updated the thread as requested. Unfortunately, it's challenging to achieve exact dimensions with an FDM printer. I've made a compromise, though.
