Lens Cap 52mm

Lens Cap 52mm

I designed this custom lens cap for my camera and I'm thrilled with it, so I'm excited to share it here. You can print it using ABS or PLA or other materials of your choice. To assemble this project, you'll need two separate parts: the Cap and the Spring, both of which require 2 M3 x 6mm screws. It's worth noting that the spring features two small slots for better functionality. To achieve optimal printing quality, make sure to set the layer height to a maximum of 0.15mm. Here are the step-by-step instructions: 1. Print the Cap and Spring parts separately. 2. Drill out the two holes in the spring until they reach 2.5mm in diameter and create a M3 thread within them. 3. Attach the spring to the cap as shown in the accompanying images. Have fun building your own custom lens cap!
