Lens Adapter Galaxy S7 Edge
thingiverse
This is my custom-made binocular adapter for the Galaxy S7 Edge. You can clearly see the difference it makes in the photo I took of a tree in my front yard. To create this adapter, print out the cover and female thread pieces separately. It's essential to print the threaded piece with high resolution to ensure it screws properly into place. Use super-glue on either side of the thread piece, carefully align it, and then stick it against the back of the cover. The binocular with a light blue adapter is a compact 6x16 model, while the larger one is a more common 10x25 binocular. To make an adapter for the smaller binocular, print the small male base and screw pieces separately and attach them together using super-glue. The large binocular adapter can be printed as a single piece, which is why there's only one file available. Since the binoculars tend to shake quite a bit, I designed a case that fits my phone for use on a tripod. There are three self-threading holes in the tripod case that should fit any regular tripod. Be sure to print the case upright. When I started college last year, I decided to create a telescope adapter for astrophotography. Unfortunately, I forgot what size telescope I used and what diameter eyepiece the adapter fits on. The telescope adapter comes in two pieces, just like the small binocular adapter, and is assembled in the same way. I only show two moon photos above, but there are more available on my website at https://www.souzoumaker.com/blog-1/2017/8/8/lens-adapter.
