As many of you I have been working from home, ever since this pandemic has turned our lives sideways. In order to improve ergonomics and also saving some desk space, I was looking for a very low profile laptop stand, which also brings up the screen as high as possible. I have experimented with certain angles and this is pretty much the max, without the laptop tipping over. It works really well on my desk and I haven't had any accidents so far. I also made sure not to cover any vents, since the laptop already gets hot enough while using resource hogging garbage like ms teams and whatnot.

It is meant to be more of a “permanent” stand if your laptop is pretty much just sitting on your desk the entire time, and you're not taking it to work multiple times a week or whatever.

You'll have to print three parts: the two brackets and the stick, which is supposed to connect the two brackets together.

It's a tight fit, you may even have to do a tiny wee bit of sanding. I intentionally didn't design this as one piece since about once a month, I disassemble the thing and take it with me.

It looks / feels quite flimsy without a laptop sitting on top of it but once it's in there, that's no longer an issue. Just make sure that the screen of your laptop is at a 90° angle to your desk, otherwise it might tip over.

This may also fit other laptops and can likely be adjusted with some hot air.
