Lenovo Explorer Windows Mixed Reality DIY Headband Strap

I hastily cobbled together this fix when the distinctive halo-shaped headband on my Lenovo Explorer snapped. It securely attaches to both sides of the headset using double-sided adhesive tape, and then you simply attach a headband to it. Replacement headbands can be sourced from FPV goggles, low-cost phone VR headsets, or perhaps even a headlamp if you're fortunate enough to find one. I've found this makeshift solution more comfortable than the original headband, so I suppose it's a win-win situation. To attach the top strap, I inserted a trimmed paintbrush between the two attachment points and wrapped the strap around a pencil. My FPV goggle headband strap measures 25mm in width. If you have a Vive strap or yours is wider than 30mm, I highly recommend checking out RocketPigeon's design. Hopefully, this hack works as well for you as it did for me.
