The extended headlamp cover is specifically designed for DIY LED lamp installations in the KIA Carens 2016 model. This design addresses a common issue with LED lamps, which are typically longer than standard lamps and can obstruct airflow or even prevent the headlamp cover from closing properly. To ensure durability and heat resistance, it's recommended to use ABS material for printing this cover. PLA material may not provide sufficient thermal stability, as it begins to soften at temperatures around 70 degrees Fahrenheit (20°C). In contrast, ABS can withstand much higher temperatures, making it an ideal choice for high-temperature engine compartments like the one in the KIA Carens.
