Length Adjustable Try Square (Combination Square) from an Aluminum C-Profile I've been looking for a length-adjustable square with a large projection, but the commercially available models were too imprecise, inflexible, and ridiculously expensive. That's why I decided to create my own using a standard aluminum C-profile as the basis. These profiles are extruded and have low manufacturing tolerances, making them cheap and widely available online. I chose a narrow profile with dimensions 11 x 17 x 4.5 x 2 mm. The right-angled handle has a through-hole adapted to the profile and an additional fence for marking large workpieces. Inside the profile, a carriage with minimal slack runs along it. The carriage is tapered at the top, ensuring it automatically aligns itself at right angles to the profile when the screws are tightened together with the handle. Required Materials: * 2x M5 x 15 mm HEX * 2x M5 nut * 1x 11 x 17 x 4.5 x 2 mm aluminum C-profile Print Instructions: * "Sterngriff_Winkel.stl", 0.1 mm, 50% * "Winkel_Verstellbar_V2.stl", 0.2 mm, 50% * "Winkel_Verstellbar_schlitten.stl", 0.1 mm, 100% Please print the handle on its narrow side.
