This is replacement bobbin designed specifically for Woolee Winders on Lendrum spinning wheels. A Woolee winder is a type of flyer that automatically fills the bobbin as you spin, eliminating the need to stop and adjust yarn on hooks or sliders. Due to the characteristics of the plastic used, I highly recommend using a nylon tension band instead of a cotton one. This ensures optimal performance and longevity of the bobbin. The files were printed with 3 layers: top, bottom, and sides, along with an infill percentage of 35%. You can adjust these settings according to your specific needs. I use both rafts and support in my printing process, but you may or may not require them. This is entirely dependent on the design requirements of your bobbin. This replacement bobbin consists of five separate parts that need to be sanded and glued together for assembly. A jeweler's file may be necessary to clean up and fit the gear on your Woolee winder. It only took me about 5 minutes to get it to fit, and I recommend doing this before gluing the parts together.
