Lemonade Stand Fitting
thingiverse
My daughter has a lemonade stand playhouse that we bought from Sams Club this summer. The structure is made up of 3/4" pipe and fittings, covered with canvas material. Since we didn't take it apart carefully and store it properly, some pieces remained in the garage and a couple of pipe fittings broke. If anyone needs a replacement part for one of the four-way fittings, I'm sharing this information. We'll probably break more fittings, and I'll post other parts here over time. I designed this playhouse to have 20 mm openings on all four sides. This is slightly larger than the 3/4" pipe it's supposed to fit on because my printer adds extra thickness due to poor calibration. After printing, I found that the two side openings were perfect but the top and front were too loose. I assume this has to do with how it gets sliced and the layers go down while printing. I reduced the opening size on the top and front, and now the part works perfectly for me. Someone else might need to scale this thing down to 98-96% for a tight fit.
