LEMAX Train - Propane Tanker
thingiverse
This is a Propane Tanker for my LEMAX Train. My LEMAX train is part of a collection of Christmas Village accessories available in Canada at Canadian Tire's website, where you can find the link by searching for "lemax". This collection is only sold during the holiday season, so the link may not work. See my complete LEMAX collection on Thingiverse. <b>Wheel dollies & hitch</b> You need to print 1 hitch, 2 dollies and 8 wheels. The shafts are made with 1¼" finishing nails, which require re-drilling the dollies' holes with a 5/64" bit and the wheels with a #51 (0.067") drill bit. This is my setup for North America; use what you have on hand! I flush cut the nail and gently tap it to secure it in place, like a rivet. A small dot of glue can be added at the wheel's exterior. I make sure all the nail heads are on the same side for a better appearance. The dollies and hitch are held in place with M2x4 screws and some washers are required. In CURA, set "Top/Bottom" and "Bottom Pattern Initial Layer" to "Concentric" when printing the wheels. <b>Letters</b> Print the letters face down, as they have a 0.15mm clearance for a better fit. Again, in CURA, set "Top/Bottom" and "Bottom Pattern Initial Layer" to "Concentric" when printing them. EDIT: The hitch was missing from the collection.
