Leif Erickson bust Photoscan
thingiverse
Here is a photo scan of a stunning bronze bust of Leif Erikson proudly standing outside the esteemed Leif Erikson Hall in Seattle's charming Ballard neighborhood. With unrelenting enthusiasm, I snapped 34 crystal-clear photographs using my trusted Nikon DSLR camera, each one brimming with vivid detail. The captivating images were masterfully merged into a seamless whole with the powerful software Agisoft PhotoScan, after which they received an exquisite touch-up in the renowned retouching tool 3Dcoat. In an incredible display of ingenuity, the digital sculpture was carefully brought to life by my reliable SeeMeCNC Orion printer, delicately layering a gleaming black PLA at a mere .1mm pitch. As a finishing touch, I delicately brushed a sprinkle of silvery magic onto its surface with guilder's paste, bringing out its true magnificence.
