Replacement Eyepiece Protectors for Leica Trinovid Binoculars 10x42. Frustrated with snow and cookie crumbs accumulating in eyepieces, an innovative solution was born. Conceived by R.Waters and designed by K.Bowlby, a student of Technological Design (TDJ2O) at Bell High School in Ottawa, Canada. The protective loop slips over the shoulder harness strap buckles, providing a sturdy 3mm wall thickness for added durability. Withstanding recent temperatures as low as -27C, these eyepiece caps have proven their resilience. Although they do rattle when not securing the eye piece, this feature serves as a warning to any potential wildlife intruders.
