LQ-LC01A2 (new version) This newly created LQ-LC01A1 lens cap is an updated version for the Leica Q Typ 116. Its main advantage over the standard lens cap lies in its lanyard attachment point. The lens cap now fully supports compatibility with the Ever Ready Case (19502), the Day Bag (19504), and is designed to be used as is, without protective tape around the cap edges. I suggest using black tape or adhesive felt on the inside of the lenscap, especially if you're printing at 0.2mm, as this will ensure light-tightness. This cap can be printed without supports given a properly functioning printer. To do so, print it upside down with the Leica logo facing downwards. You can use any material for your lanyard, but I recommend using small nylon wrist lanyards from eBay. Cut off the plastic part, thread the lanyard through both the body and cap, then melt the ends slightly after tying them off while squishing it down at the cap with a flat object as it cools.
