Leica M2 Hand Grip, Screw, and Finder Flare Shield

thingiverse

This is a hand grip, screw, and finder flare shield for the Leica M2 camera. The grip is attached to the camera by the accessory pin on the left side and the tripod mount on the right, using a 3/8-16x1/2" flat screw. The included screw is coin operable. Make it from something strong like ABS or nylon @100% infill. The finder flare shield can be scaled to adjust fitment, the included model is the exact scale that fit best on my camera, in PLA @0.2mm layers. It fits the curve of the camera body and so only goes on one way. There is a cutout in the front grip to [allow the camera's timer to function](https://youtu.be/BGccZ-teDLY), and a hole in the base (positioned at the film plane center) which can be tapped to 1/4-20 for tripod mounting.
