Leia

I've finally got it! It's Princess Leia! I've been perfecting this model since summer and I'm excited to share my work in progress picture. For reference, I drew inspiration from her iconic hair on Endor and her likeness in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. To make the 3D model stand out, I amplified its details so they'd be visible after printing. For a top-notch print, I recommend using a large scale (180 mm) and slow print speed (20 mm/s). To achieve a professional finish, I applied sandable white primer lightly to the printed version. Next, I sanded it with 220 grit sandpaper for a smooth surface. After that, I gave it another light coat of white primer and sanded it again with the same grit. Finally, I sealed it with water-based polycrylic (clear gloss) for a subtle sheen. I used Luis's brushes, available at https://cubebrush.co/luisarmstrong3d/products/zywuhq/rocks-cracks-brushes, to create the rock cracks on her outfit. If you're interested in her braids, I'll share my custom ZBrush brush for free. The first image shows the printed version and the second one is the rendered model. May the force be with you!
