HAPPY LIFE DAY. I'm sharing these files today because I want to make sure that anyone who wants to be Jedi can do so this Christmas. Please don't sell or redistribute these files, or create printed or cast versions of this model. These files are for fans to enjoy for free. As a Star Wars fan for 20+ years and a fan of the original EU, I was deeply moved to tears when my favorite space princess finally got an officially canon lightsaber on screen. It meant everything to me that this saber appeared in the movie. This saber isn't just canon; it's also beautifully designed. Her legacy saber hasn't been released yet at Galaxy's Edge, so I decided to create a replica in Sketchup. This design is still a work in progress. Accuracy-wise, I'm working with limited reference material, and I expect this design to change as better images become available. I'm trying to make this design compatible with Savi's Workshop lightsabers, but the skinny neck will require some changes to proportions and sizing. In fact, the Pommel piece already has the correct threads for a Savi saber. In the meantime, I wanted to release an accurate version that's not designed for Savi's sabers. It's hollow inside, so you can add your custom electronics if you're feeling handy. If this saber feels too big, you might want to size down all the parts a tiny bit to make it more screen accurate.
