The Lehigh/Koens-Crispin projectile point was unearthed in 1943 during an excavation at a precontact site along the Susquehanna River in Cecil County, Maryland, led by Richard Stearns and the Natural History Society of Maryland. This artifact dates back to the Late Archaic Period, spanning between 900 and 3700 years ago (2450-2100 BC). Characterized by its large size and high level of craftsmanship, the Lehigh/Koens-Crispin point boasts a broad ovate to lanceolate blade and a short, tapering stem. The Natural History Society of Maryland has granted permission for this model to be downloaded for non-commercial educational purposes.
