Legs for the monstrosity 3D Printer

thingiverse

Here are some legs I designed to provide clearance for my printer's z-stepper motor when mounting the z-axis in the center of the rails. The design aims to stabilize printers that use 20x20 extrusion frames by allowing the frame to fit snugly into the boxes, which friction-fit onto the legs. These custom parts are a must-have for anyone with a kit like mine that came with poorly designed components that don't fit together properly. By providing clearance and facilitating manual bed leveling, these legs make it possible to achieve accurate bed alignment - a task that was virtually impossible with my printer's original wing nuts, which left the bed 1.5 inches above the table.
