Fed up with cable ties breaking came up with this 2 part system. print the insert and tie it to the cord as normal slip the ring over the assembly then push the insert into the TheraBand a long way so as you slip the ring over the band there is approx. 2mm showing above the ring then pull the band and cord and guide the ring onto the insert as you pull it slips into place. do not lubricate as the friction between the tube and the ring keeps it in place the more you pull the ring is pulled tighter onto the insert. I've shot approx. 100 bolts without a problem. Normally after 20 shots the cable ties I used kept breaking the cord would release, not had the problem since making these. please note I have only tried these with the grey / silver TheraBand [stronger than the black] may need modification to suit the black TheraBand.
