This is a straightforward adaptation to enable a 1/4" hex bit to drive or be driven by your Lego Technics and Mindstorms creation. I'm incorporating this component into a project that utilizes Lego EV3 for motion management and sensor control. The total thickness of this part is 15mm, with an 8mm thick base. The hex size measures 6.7mm. This design allows for scaling flexibility, so you can adjust the fit of the 1/4" hex to suit your needs, ranging from a loose fit to a rigid connection. When printed in PLA, the hex provides a slip fit, while ABS yields a snugger fit. Your results may vary, but ABS is generally more compatible with Lego kits.
