If this part meets your needs perfectly, great! Otherwise, I've created a customizable version of this that's been tweaked to work seamlessly with various Lego sets that kids might find online. I drew inspiration from a design my kids stumbled upon on the Internet but couldn't seem to replicate in their actual Lego sets. After carefully measuring a similar part using calipers and applying some educated guesswork, I crafted a part that seems to fit their build quite well. When slicing the model using MakerBot Desktop, it worked without any issues whatsoever. Moreover, it printed flawlessly on our MakerBot Replicator 2 with the exact dimensions provided, except in cases where your printer experiences shrinkage or wobbling - in such scenarios, increasing the tolerances in OpenSCAD might be necessary. Impressively, this part prints in under five minutes (including hot end warmup), making it an ideal choice for experimentation.
