As part of building a complete set of Lego in 3x scale, I needed to create the wheels (https://rebrickable.com/parts/55982/, diameter 17.5mm) without printing rubber tires. But then it hit me: I had a 3x tire already, for my 42054 CLAAS XERION 5000 Tractor (https://rebrickable.com/parts/23798/, inner diameter 56mm). So I designed the original wheel front and back, scaled to 56mm diameter, but the perimeter similar to the Claas wheel (https://rebrickable.com/parts/15038/) to fit the Claas wheel perfectly. This turned out to be a perfect fit, and I am thrilled with the result. 3D printing and designing is truly amazing! My entire project is still printing, I will update here when it's done.
