I've spent countless hours tinkering with Lego Technic parts and have always wondered if it's possible to create my own custom pieces using 3D printing technology. The answer lies in this ingenious design - a 6.5-stud long axle that can be easily printed at home, but isn't officially sanctioned by the Lego company. Note: This part is notoriously tricky to print, so don't expect it to fit perfectly on your first attempt. I highly recommend cranking up the layer height to 0.1mm for optimal results.
