Lego Santa (new hips, better printing beard, trouser hem, joints)
thingiverse
Since I had problems printing the hip of Santa, I came up with the idea to simply disassemble the component. It worked well too, but my legs were too loose, so again a change that eliminated the pins and provided only a bolt for it. The result can be seen in the pictures. I secured the hips with the bolts and bonded them with UHU Hart. If you have already printed the "Original Hip" from HowardB on Thingiverse and the legs are too slippery, just cut off the pins and drill through with a 9.5mm drill bit and use the bolt. The second was the beard, I love the design of jolyrojr on Thingiverse, but it's only printable with great effort. Therefore also here, just 2 parts made out and joined by means of bolts and glue. The third is the waistband, which does not fit around Santa's stomach in its current size, but here too, thanks to TinkerCAD, I was able to manipulate the part and make it fit. And finally, the joints of the arms, these too were too easy for me and broke very fast. For this new bolts are drawn and printed. Disadvantage here is that they are not as flexible as the original. Oh, I still have one, Santa's eyes as a file. So now have fun printing the components. Of course you need most of the Lego Santa from HowardB on Thingiverse
