Lego Ruler
thingiverse
A measuring tool for counting studs on your Lego brick or determining the length of a rod is offered by the STL. Designed for a 10-brick ruler, this STL is 0.6mm high to achieve three layers of plastic at a 0.2 layer height. If you need a thicker, longer, or shorter ruler, simply edit the SCAD file. For beginners learning to code, this design utilizes a straightforward for loop, font usage, and linear extrusion for creating letters. However, it leaves behind the inner dots of numbers for improved readability. To further enhance your design, consider using a printable font or adding thin lines to connect the number blobs together. Despite its limitations, I was able to read the numbers without issue, so I went ahead with sorting my Lego collection instead.
