This valve is designed specifically for Lego NXT motors and functions by using a piston to pinch a hose shut. A clear cover can be attached for added security, and the assembly can be stacked for more versatility. To use, first attach the NXT motor to your desired base object with bolts and nuts, ensuring that the holes align properly using washers if necessary. Next, connect the actuator using a Lego technic axle and insert the hose into the designated slot; hoses around 10mm in diameter should work well, with silicone hose being tested successfully while soft PVC may also be viable.
