Lego Minifig Display
thingiverse
Inspired by [AJsRaceway's](https://www.thingiverse.com/AJsRaceway) [Minifigure Display](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3901517), but built entirely from scratch. When I first saw that thing, it caught my eye and I was impressed, but I wanted to take it a step further by making them connect just like normal LEGO pieces. So, I set out to create something new. Building this display was a real challenge. Printing it horizontally with automatic supports produced decent results, but those supports were incredibly tough to remove cleanly. On the other hand, printing vertically with automatic supports would have generated an enormous amount of support material, so that wasn't an option. And, as expected, trying to print without supports resulted in some bits attempting to print on thin air. So, I came up with a version that includes built-in supports. Printing vertically produces the best results, and then you need to carefully cut away the extra bits on all the "bottom" sides.
