I'm still honing my skills with my 3D printer and decided to attempt replicating something and see if it would snap back together just like the original. I meticulously copied all of the dimensions from a genuine RCX backplate and printed out a new one, and it fit seamlessly. I opted not to include any peg holes on the bottom, but someone with patience could add them if they're willing to take the extra time.
