Here is a Lego enthusiast's creation that really makes an impression - a 3D printable pull cable system for their mind-storming robotics endeavors. This is actually quite a challenge as there are some pretty cool parts included in this little build. You'll notice the small details like this one with just one little pulley, it can actually handle a pretty heavy load!
