Lego LightSaber
thingiverse
So this project is a recreation of a Lego lightsaber to as close of a 1:1 replica as I can. There are a few parts. There are three main parts that make up the base. The slide is a piece in which you fix the main electronics too.the electronics you need are Adafruit feather m0 express3.7 v lipo batteryAdafruit capacitive touch sensorLed stripsmall Tactile Switches4m heat insert4m flat screw 6.5mm diameter rod (as long as you want the blade to be.40mm diameter hollow clear pipe. The rod is to give rigidity to the base and also to give you something to attach the LEDs to. and inserts through ~ 1/2 the base. The top cap also fits on it.The capacity touch holder goes 2 sides down and one other side which goes against the capacitive touch sensor to hold it in place. There is a hole going through the sabre to thread some wires. you do need to insert a heat insert into the end cap this will attach with a screw to the slide. which then slides into the entire base.the facade and button are just there to cover up the end cap if you don't want to see the charging port I have made an open to which can be used to pull out the slide. you can also use an Allen key for this.if you want to code for the sabre. or help you can send a message to me.
