Lego Helical Gears 45 degrees 16t
thingiverse
Consider following my work if you appreciate what I do. I'm creating designs for Lego gear systems. These are 45-degree helical gears. You need to print two identical gears to get them working properly, no mirroring required. If you're using a resin printer, your results will be smoother than with FDM. However, FDM can still work if you follow these instructions: Take note if you're using an FDM printer: You'll need to wear down the gears slightly before they'll function in a vehicle or creation. Build a setup like the one shown in the picture, connect a motor to the smallest gear and let it run for 10 minutes. Then, connect the motor to the larger gear and let it run until it's smooth. Print with a resolution of 0.1 mm or lower. If you're interested in printing straight-cut or helical gears other than the ones I've designed, just send me a message and we'll make it happen.
