Lego gearmotor casing--revised
youmagine
This calls for a precision-crafted gearmotor in two distinct components, leveraging the ingenious code from Klikini's renowned design on Youmagine.com. To generate either the top or bottom piece, simply comment out one section in the Openscad file. The measurements I've implemented should fit my standard straight-line gearmotors; however, you may need to fine-tune them for compatibility with your own gearmotors. The rectangular openings in the bottom section are specifically designed to accommodate the axles, while the round holes provide a breath of fresh air and effortless wire management for the electric motor. I've also incorporated an adapter that seamlessly transitions from the standard two-flat gearmotor axle to a cross-profile Lego axle. The revised design boasts slightly more generous dimensions for the motor and smaller axle connectors for added convenience.
