Lego Extruder Knobs Remix
thingiverse
This is a remix of Justintime3ddesign's Lego Extruder Knob, https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3546153. I remixed it so my kids could use some of the figures and vehicles from their old Lego Dimensions game stuff that they no longer play. This remix comes with two designs. The first is three regular extruder knobs with various combinations of Lego Dots/Pegs/Bumps on them (1x1, 1x2, 2x2). The second version is a bottom knob with an indentation where you can pick one of the three disks with aforementioned Dots/Pegs/Bumps on them. The idea here is that you can just print the knob once and switch out the disks as needed. I suggest using a light adhesive (tape, Elmer's school glue, etc.) if you want to go this route. When printing either knob, it's up to you how to orient the prints and support them. Printing right side up makes the tops smooth but requires more support, while printing upside down saves plastic but can make the tops rough. It's your call, but I print right side up for one piece option and upside down for two piece one. Thanks for checking these out and I hope you enjoy them.
