Lego Disc Special Edition
thingiverse
A revised version of my previous Lego weapon, Lego Disc, is now available. This one is the same size as before, approximately six inches in length. Be cautious to leave sufficient clearance between the ends of the spikes and the part of the car that holds this in place. The middle pipe extension has been increased in size to match a Technic pipe connector. Both designs are capable of working effectively. However, the second one possesses slightly more strength. I intend to print one as soon as possible to demonstrate its appearance on my Lego car. Special Edition features include: two larger and more effective spikes, improved durability, a slight increase in height (by 0.1 inches), a tighter x-pipe for reduced sliding on the pipe, an extended center x-pipe for enhanced stability, thicker support beams for increased strength, and fewer pesky gaps in the design. It is recommended to print this version as it is more stable, causes more damage, and has a lower chance of tearing itself apart. Remember: wear protective eyewear when testing this out, especially at high speeds! Also, to minimize risks, print with a high level of infill and quality. Using durable filament will lower the risk of it hitting something solid and breaking or damaging surrounding objects.
