Lego Desk Organizer

Project Description: Create a desk organizer or component that classmates would be able to use to make learning from home easier. Whether it’s an organizer for a makeshift desk, an object to keep all their writing utensils in place, or something to help you stay on top of all your school tasks. You may wish to create a stand for your cell phone to provide another way to access content during distance learning activities. Consider what will best help you be successful to design your product. -Some issues that we encountered while designing were making the holes and lining up all of the parts perfectly. We had trouble in making the hole in the Lego cubes because we had to extrude the circle out a little and then we had to get that and then make a hole that would line up perfectly with the existed hole. At the end we then had trouble aligning all the parts together because we were used to the tool "Flush" and this time we had to use different kinds on "Mates". -If we could redesign this again, I would probably try change one on the blocks to a different size. If I were to make one of the small cubes taller, more space for little items would be available. Other than that, I don't know what else I would change because the desk organizer provides a lot of space and for many different items. -3D printing would help me strengthen my design because if I have the actual model printed I can see how useful it is. Also by having the model printed, I would be able to see what parts are not so good and then I can go back to the design and fix it to make it better.
