Lego-compatible thesis project boards
thingiverse
The Lego-compatible Thesis Project Board is a physical visualization tool designed to aid in planning and monitoring Master or PhD theses. It serves as both a task planner and social display piece, showcasing thesis progress in an office or living space. Currently, there are two approaches: a 2.5D method using lettered Lego bricks for task lists, issue lists, and text lists, with towers built from standard bricks to represent progress; and a 3D approach utilizing stackable tower elements. Testing is ongoing with local PhD students, and feedback is encouraged on aspects such as design, functionality, and usability. More information can be found at the edutechwiki.unige.ch website, including printing advice and downloadable files for Lego bricks.
