Consider joining me if you enjoy what I do. Just ask if you have a Lego piece idea that you'd like to see created. Each cylinder has a volume of 7.6cc. Compared to a Scarlett 6, it's 1/22nd scale. You can view the Scarlett 5 here: http://scalebirds.com/scarlett-5. A Lego engine is 1/12th scale of this. The diameter of this is approximately 15L or 120mm. Check out this GIF of a radial engine for more information: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radial_engine#/media/File:Radial_engine_timing-small.gif. Before assembly, you may need to sand down the pistons and cylinders, as well as bore the rods with a 5mm bore. This is because Lego engine parts are made of molded plastic, whereas this project uses printed parts. Printing and Assembly You will need the following items: * 5x i1 * 2x plates (one each or two "1") * 4x RodR * 1x Rod * 2x Counterweights * 2x O5R * 20x black Lego joints * 7x 3L axles * 1x 5L axles The pistons have different measurements on each side and will only fit one way. The version shown in the video is made without RodR and O5R. V and Flat shape engines are coming soon or in the future. You can view this project in action here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWHTXnJYYHY. Resolution: 0.2, 3 perimeters, 3 bottom- and top layers.
