LEGO compatible laser engraver feet
thingiverse
I liked the idea of BusterBeagle3D's feet for the Ortur laser engraver, but when it came time to raise my son's Longer Ray5 laser to use a rotary adapter, I thought "why not use my son's LEGO blocks that he's outgrowing?"... So I drew some new feet from scratch, similar to BusterBeagle's. I added some fillets to make them stronger, and made them LEGO compatible, so we could raise the laser whatever height we needed at the time. Standard LEGO blocks are 9.6mm tall, so you can raise the laser that amount per layer, or use thinner LEGOs if you need. I've included two files... the "lego_longer_ray5_laser_foot_x3.stl" file can be used for three of the feet on the Longer Ray5, or all four feet on other lasers with similar legs, like the Ortur. The other file, "lego_longer_ray5_laser_foot_front_left_x1.stl" is trimmed a bit, and meant for the front left foot on a Longer Ray5, since these machines have a control box that covers part of that front right leg.
