Lego City Curved Tracks

Lego City Curved Tracks

These printable tracks are modeled for standalone use of Lego L Gauge trains. As usual, nothing I found online fit the tracks that come with the trains (couplings are always wrong). Everything is designed from the geometry listed on l-gauge.org. Smallest is R40, largest is R120. Instead of using bricks to secure the joints, I created a custom tie that does a much better job of keeping the connection immobile. Without base plates, speeding trains easily distort tight turns. The surface geometry is a bit of a mess. Compounding errors from numerous fudges and tweaking. The important stuff lines up. As much as this annoys me, the aim here is functional printed tracks, and these work, are the proper size/angles as whole track sections. Stl files include supports for the rail joints so none are needed from the slicer. I've printed these in ABS, ASA, PLA, PHA and PETG with no problems.
