We store a lot of our LEGO bricks in two types of Ikea Containers, the Sanla 11L plastic tub and the Samla 5L plastic tub. They are great value and easily stackable.

Rather than sorting with the LEGO sorting head, I wanted to build a version with more granularity to sort the parts.

We use 6 different sections:
Jumbo, Large, Medium, Small, Very Small and Tiny

I've uploaded a few alternatives.

Option 1 and 2 can be printed on any 3D printer with a print bed of at least 25 x 21cm. Option 3 needs a larger print bed of ~30cm x 25cm.

Option 1: Entirely standalone and can be used without any ikea tubs.
For this option, print all files Tiny (Optional) except:

Support Leg (11L)

Small (11L). Option 2: Fits straight on top of the Ikea Samla 5L tub
https://www.ikea.com/au/en/p/samla-box-with-lid-transparent-s39885749/
For this option, print all files except:

Support Leg (11L)

Small (11L).

Tiny (Optional) Option 3: Fits straight on top of the Ikea Samla 11L tub.
Note that this option will require a large format printer. In my case, I'm using an Artillery X1 which has a larger print bed.
https://www.ikea.com/au/en/p/samla-box-with-lid-transparent-s19885646/

For this option, print all files except:

Small

Tiny (Optional)
You will also need to print 4 of the support legs. These are mounted to the Very Small (11L) sorting piece using 4 x M5 10mm Hex screws and 4 x M5 Hex Nuts. Printing:

Use supports for printing to allow for the lip .
