I would recommend downloading only the files you need, because you'll get a lot of extra junk if you DL the whole thing. I export as both STEP & IGES, and they are readily available as single file downloads. If you want the Solidworks files, start by downloading and reading README.txtPlease DM me if you have any specific part commentary.Shoutout to dk for a lot of parts. I've been able to harvest quite a few from his builds. (dk)Otherwise, the rest are made by recreating them from LDraw and these usually turn out really nice. However, for some of the specialty pieces it's really difficult to get the boundary lines smooth and I don't love the outcome, but that isn't very common.I remove LEGO logo from all parts, or don't include it for parts I generate. Main reason is file size. Solidworks notes: - I try to use LEGO offical site design number, name, and color for parts. - For each design, I assign configurations for the various elements and their respective colors. I do this with a code, not manually. But all configs should have appropriate part number and matching color name. These are only present in SW. - This is also true for parts that have decals. On the official LEGO site, they usually have their own part number, however on Rebrickable & Bricklink they are named based on the part they are derived of.
