This box enables the use of larger battery packs, both rechargeable and non-rechargeable ones. It necessitates unsoldering the original battery box from the top piece. Next, I soldered a quick connector for my specific battery packs. I employed screws with diameters slightly larger than the originals, yet they function flawlessly. If you have reached this point, it's likely that modifying LEGO pieces poses no issue for you. It took having my 3-year-old son dismantle everything we built to break me finally. Now, making minor modifications doesn't seem so daunting. The battery box makes parenting and train play more cost-effective, especially for parents whose kids insist LEGO motors, lights, and sensors don't require shutting off. There are no LEGO connecting holes on the bottom of the box, so securing the top is essential. Additionally, I uploaded a slightly larger version of the original box that works perfectly with smaller lipo batteries. WARNING: This modification voids any warranties. If you're not confident in your soldering skills, it's best to refrain from this project. I am not responsible for any actions taken by individuals performing this task. Printer Settings: Printer: HICTOP 3DP12 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .3mm Infill: 15% Notes: Printed using PLA at 205°C on a bed at 50%. Supports were utilized. I also cut out rectangular sections from the top to minimize support printing requirements.
