With home 3D printing, fixing a broken LEGO piece is easy and quick; in just 30 minutes you can have a new one ready for your child. We've successfully printed four pieces in mere four minutes using our RepRap printer. For optimal results, use 0.2 mm extrusion width and 0.3 mm layer height. While we haven't tried smaller extrusion width, it might help to make the piece smoother. Anything thicker than 0.2 mm may be unnecessary.
