A Granddaddy is an enormous insect-like creature with no equal on the planet. It resides underground in massive hives that are covered in glowing, pink growths similar to those found on its own body. Although it can easily find and devour prey, a Granddaddy requires huge amounts of nutrients to sustain its activities. Consequently, each Granddaddy hive is limited to only five inhabitants. Extremely aggressive, these creatures charge into battle with ease using their six legs, lowering their heads and rapidly raising them to slash or pierce an enemy.
